The Traditional Latin Mass

markeerlijn

The Holy Mass is celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs according to the traditional Latin rite used by the Catholic Church for hundreds of years.

A Note to Newcomers

markeerlijn

As a newcomer to the traditional Latin Mass, we welcome you to the unchanged Catholic Faith.  The priests and parishioners of Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Church reject the changes of Vatican II.  They want to preserve the Roman Catholic Faith by maintaining everything which was taught and done by the Church prior to Vatican II.  In order to receive the sacraments here, it is therefore necessary that you attend exclusively the traditional Latin Mass, and avoid the new Mass and reformed sacraments.  We also invite you to take our booklet entitled The Traditional Latin Mass, which is very informative.

Fr. Carlos A. Ercoli
Father Carlos Augusto Ercoli was born in 1972, in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. After having studied in the Military Academy General San Martín from 12 to 17 years of age, he entered the Seminary of La Reja (SSPX), as a resolution of life taken after a month of spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius. In May 1989, he left the Society of St. Pius X, together with Father Andrés Morello (former rector of the Seminary), 20 seminarians and other priests. He continued his studies of Philosophy with Fr. Morello, first in Cordoba, Argentina and then in Guadalajara, Mexico (from 1990 to 1993). In January 1994 he entered the Institute Mater Boni Consilii, in Italy, directed by Father Francesco Ricossa, in order to complete his studies of Theology. He was ordained to the priesthood by the Most Rev. Daniel L. Dolan on October 1997 at Verrua Savoia, Italy, the motherhouse of the Institute. He spent his first years as a priest living in the Seminary, helping in the apostolate of the several missions of the Institute in Italy, France and Belgium, in particular during the summer activities in spiritual exercises and camps for young men. In the year 2000, still as a member of the Institute, he moved to Tours, France, in order to assist the aged Father Noël Barbara, serving the Chapel St. Michel as pastor, one of the first sedevacantist chapels in Europe. In October 2001, he left France to join Catholic Restoration, an association of priests under the leadership of the Most Rev. Donald J. Sanborn in the state of Michigan, USA. While living at Most Holy Trinity Seminary and helping in the apostolate, he taught in the Seminary and assisted several mission churches around the country. In July 2005, Most Holy Trinity Seminary permanently moved to Brooksville, Florida. His current assignment by Bp. Sanborn is to stay in Michigan and serve as pastor of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs in Fraser.
